Christmas Cat Pictures

I tried all day to catch the cats in front of the Christmas tree. All I wanted was a nice cat and tree photo. Not a lot to ask, you say? Well, if you think that, then you don't know cats. They have their own minds and rarely take human requests too seriously.

I got a lot of Miss Ellie and her beautiful tail, of which she is most proud!

I got a lot of Hammy's tail, too. Not that he cares about a tail, for heaven's sake!

Hammy actually cared a LOT about playing with the camera strap.

I finally had to enlist Warren to get a nice photo of Miss Ellie and the Tree.

Hamilton eventually cooperated and I got a very nice shot of the HammerMan and the Tree.

Merry Christmas from us and the Cats!

Oh we're all about cats here, too, we've got three. And of course my Basset Hound, Louie, who is my baby doll!

I noted you were hit hard in the ice storm--been there done that (I'm in Lee's Summit) and am greatful we dodged the silvery bullet this time. We got ice, but we kept our power!

Stacey-Glad to hear you didn't lose power. Nasty stuff, isn't it! We're doing fine this time, too. Only a dusting of snow, no ice, and power is just fine. Thank goodness!

funny pictures! we tried one year to get both toby and boscoe sitting in front of the glowing tree.

ha. dogs arne't as hard to guide as cats--at least, they shouldn't be--but as i recall it took a long time and the result was a bit blurry.

merry christmas from a very snowy st. paul!

Laurie: I'm wracking my brain and don't know any of them! I guess I've been away from St. Paul too long! I'll put my husband on the job tomorrow, but he's more of a Minneapolis guy, so I kinda doubt he'll know much more than I...don't... Great idea, BTW. I did something similar back when I was a teacher, where I took photos around the school and put them all on a worksheet. The kids had to try to I.D. where they were in the school Great fun.

Stacey: We saw your ice on our drive up to the Twin Cities. Really amazing. Did you lose tree branches? Not one house in our city was without fallen trees or branches. Really scary.
